Do you charge for Ewaste drop off?

We currently only charge for printer disposal and certified destrution.

Do I need an appointment?

No Appointment is needed! Our hours are currently limited to Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday 9am-4pm. We ask that you keep ewaste drop-off to those ours as it causes handling & violation issues when items are dropped off outside of business hours.

How does certified destruciton work?

For residential customers we offer hard drive destruction. The fee is $5 per drive. This is available for desktops and laptops. This serrvice does require an appointment.

For our business customers we offer certified destruction of not only electronics and hard drives, as well as specialized equipment and propriatary inventory.

Do you buy Ewaste?

We do purchase larger quanities from businesses.

For household/residential ewaste we do not purchase items.

We will consider reasonable size lots from residental customers on a case by case basis. Feel free to call and ask.

What to do with light bulbs, alkaline batteries and damaged batteries?

There are several local options for the items we do not accept.

Escondido Disposal offers HHW collection to Escondido residents twice a month for items such as light bulbs, batteries, paints, oils and chemicals.
Staples now accepts ALL types of batteries including alkalines.
Paint stores such as Sherwam Williams & Dunn-Edwards accept paints and stain for disposal.
Automotive Oil is accepted by O'riellys locations
